    I have often heard Derinturn called New Chapel. There is a cemetery in the grounds of this church too.
    About five miles north east of here, on the Enfield road is a smaller Roman Catholic Church, in the townland of Kilshanroe. This church is very often referred to as "The Little Chapel". It also has a cemetery in its grounds.
