    A Funny Story
Long ago a crowd of men were digging potatoes in a field, there was a fort in the middle of it. They had a very good crop they were digging with spades. They had half of them dug for dinner time. It was in the field they were eating their dinner and when they sat down, three mighty women the biggest that ever were seen, came out of the fort. They had very big aprons. They gathered all the potatoes into the aprons and brought them into the fort and they were never seen since.
