  1. A man named Owen Brady of Killycraggy, Aghalough was great at tug o' war and always won the day for his team.
    One day on his way to Clones he was challenged by two men to pull them for £10.15 and he agreed. One of the men pulled out a rope and they started to pull. Owen won the first pull but was beaten in the second and they agreed to pull a third time and Owen won and got his money.
