  1. Once upon a time a man lived beside a fort. A little fairy boy used to come and see him every day. He had nothing but a cow.
    One evening the boy came in and told him that the King and Queen were going on a hunt. He got ready and they came and told him to come on his old cow. The cow was not able to walk with age, but he got up on her.
    The little boy told him not to speak a word until he would come home. The old cow was getting very swift. She passed the rest of them and in a little while she passed the "King and Queen.
