    he is nicknamed "slachtmhar."
    This is how he makes a basket. Eighteen of the strongest twigs to be had (sádhtáins) are stuck in the ground, about four inches apart and in the shape of a rectangle. They are fastened together with a twig on top to keep them in position. Then the first bunadh is put on. Three strong twigs (not as strong as the sádhtans) are woven together in and out through the sádhtáns along by the ground. Then a single rod is woven in and out through the sádhtáns for about a foot above that. Then a second bunadh is put on and so on until the basket is finished. Three or four bunadhs bring the basket to the usual height. Then the sádhtáns are unfastened and cut an equal length and the sádhtáins at
