  1. In a place called Bylane in the parish of Duagh there lived an old woman with her grandchild. This child she loved so much she kept him at home with her from school till he was about ten years of age. The priests came to hear of it and he came to her one day and he asked her why this little boy wasn't at school, and she said:- Father, the journey is very long and the weather is very bad. Well said the priest he's missing very important instructions. Is that so father said she what is it. All about on the death of our Lord the priest replied. Oh goodness Father when did he die you would hear nothing out here.
