  1. There are three forts in Carrowreagh, one in our own land. There are some stories about it and here is one of them. One night there was a man coming home from another house and he heard music in it. He went there and he tried dance but he could not dance and from that one he was the est dancer in the country.
    There was a man one time who set potatoes on the fort. He sprayed them and did everything that one should do with them. Still after all his trouble he had no potatoes.
    A man who cut hay off a fort and gave it to his cows and three of them died.
