    to go from one fort to the other at night. they go by road and sing and dance on the way. One night when dancing at a corner a man came along and they made him dance.
    There is light seen in the forts at night and the young folk say that fire is seen after twelve o'clock at night.
    It is said that people who lived beside one of these forts had to leave owing to the awful things which happened. There is a fort in the half-quarter in which fairies live. It is of a round shape and there is a dyke around it.
