  1. Liquorice is good for coughs, colds, and hoarseness.
    Rhubarb, a small dose will cure diarrhoea
    Marshmallow for asthma, dysentery, and kidney trouble.
    Mustard is good for indigestion and dropsy.
    Linseed is used largely for coughs, mixtures, when ground makes an excellent poultice.
    Ginger is used for cold, spasms, and pains in the stomach.
    Comfrey for chest complaints, excellent for poulticing obstinate ulcers.
    Blood is used for ringworm.
    Elder is useful for urinary troubles, rheumatism, gout, dropsy, and colds.
    Clover is used for coughs.
