    Stopping the Bleeding. Say the following prayer:
    Our Lord Jesus was born at Bethlehem,
    Baptised at the river Jordan,
    The water was clear, and the water was good,
    At the name of Jesus the water stood,
    By his power and in His name,
    I command this blood to do the same.
    Say five Paters, Aves, Glorias in honour of the five bleeding wounds of Jesus, and in honour of the saint that left the cure.
    Cure from Mrs. McCrann, Mount Ida Cloone.
    Swellings. Get seven free stones and say one Pater, one Ave and one Gloria, while rubbing the stones in honour of the saint that left the cure behind.
    Warts. Get a black snail without looking for him. Rub him to the warts and pin him on a whitethorn. According as he is
