  1. The ash seeds are plucked then dryed and finally made into tea. This drink is made the same way as ordinary tea but ash seeds are used instead of tea leaves. The tea must be taken when very fresh, without sugar or milk, It is a cure for rheumatism
    The root of comfrey is a cure for a cut. The herb grows in marshy ground and the root is soft and juicy.
    When people have whooping cough they boil nettles and drink the water they were boiled in.
    Grated raw potatoes are a cure for a burn. They are spread on a cloth and put to a burn.
    The roots of horehound are boiled and strained and sugar is added. This drink is taken in a cold
