    for about an hour to heat up the place. Then the air was real hot the sick person entered and remained there for about three hours at that end of which time all the sickness was supposed to have been sweated out. During those three hours the big turf fire was kept constantly burning.
    The sweat house was situated in the land of Andy Johnston, Cloone, in this parish. Nobody owned it and it was regarded as a kind of District Home for all. It is not known when or who built it and the old people of the district never saw it used but they believe that it was used for the purpose stated.
