    There, All who suffered from kidney disease made and drank Dandelion Wine to cure themselves. To make this a person gathered a certain quantity of Dandelions and put them steeping in warm water for a day. Then being strained the juice was put into a basin and sugar and a few oranges and lemons chopped up was mixed with it. It was left standing for a few days. Then it was strained once more and bottled. It was a very good cure and the longer it was left the better it became.
