  1. The potatoe crop continued.
    Patoes are grown on my farm abut two acres under potatoes.
    My father prepare the ground. He ploughs the land with two horses and a plough and make ridges or drills.
    The woman of the house cuts the potatoes into 3 or 4 pieces and leaves a few eyes in every seed and they wemen spread the seeds. And the men shake phosphate and yard minure and dig the dike and throw in on them.
