  1. The Galway Blazers
    You County Galway sportsmen
    Hibernian's noble King
The muses now begin to ornament our sport
Ten thousand echoes rise to crown the native skies
T'is God Himself supplies the tenure of my theme
The rosy-fingered morn salutes the sounding horn
House from the shades of Solomon and lurk not in disguise
Let Morpheus not delight you, better sports invite you, pleasures shall requite you
    Arise you blazers rise
The fields are overspread with heroes dressed in red
And hunters better bred than England can support
The hounds are in full cry and Reynard seems to fly
T'was fortunate sent them nigh to ornament our sport
Hark! Hark the morning breeze salutes the slumbering trees
The ants and humming bees their labour doth begin
The lark aloft doth wing and cheerfully doth sing
To praise the poet and king while sluggers sleep in sun
The shepherds lute distils his dancing canticles
The stag ascends the hill and Reynard crushed the dew
Poor Puss with terror flies her footsteps to disguise
Arise you Blazers!rise and hail the morning dew
Hark! Hark the cries increase, each horn sounds abase
Away to Chibby Chase poor Raynard is in view
Around the sunny lakes, Lough Cutra next the lakes
