    Long ago there was an old woman who had a stray cow which came to her.

    One time there came into a house of an old woman a red haired woman. When night came the woman of the house was going to milk the cow. She took a very small pan with her. The red haired woman told her to take a large pan with her so she did, and the cow filled the large pan full of milk. When she came in the woman said "God Bless your work" "Did your cow mend she asked" The red haired woman was a fairy and ever since people never took a small vessel to the byre.
