    During the reign of Cromwell in Ireland it is believed that he took a wild goose chase over Innishowen on the mission of priest murdering.

Afterwards she became a lunatic. She had two sons who got a large estate in the south of Ireland. A year after the occurance her two sons were pursuing a poacher. They fired at him shot him in the legs. The poacher fell amongst ridges of potatoes and as the pursuers approached. The wounded one fired at them and shot the two dead. The father on hearing the news saddled a race horse in Ballineire to go up to bury his sons. As he rode along close to Buncrana the horse being thirsty stooped to drink at a small stream. When
