    the weather was stormy

    on them. Some people

    they could open and close
    it as they pleased.
    The houses had no
    chimneys either. There was
    a hole in the middle of
    the roof and some people
    put a box or a barrel on
    the top of this hole to
    make it look like a
    chimney. The fire was
    made underneath this hole
    In the stormy winter
    nights all the people of
    the house gathered round
    it. The smoke went ever
