  1. Christmas is one of the great feasts of the year. It is held in memory of the birth of Christ. It is held on 25th. December.
Some people keep Christmas as a Holy day, but others keep it as a holiday, and go away some place for a day,s sport.
About a week before Christmas we send Christmas cards and presents to our friends, and we also recieve ones in return.
At Christmas all shops and business places are closed. There are services in most places of worship on that day. On that day we get nice cake for our tea.
WE get turkey and beef for our dinner, and we get plum pudding for our supper. This pudding is called plum pudding although there are no plums in it at all.
