  1. Lord Temple-More was the local Landlord. He had settled 20 years in the district. They were looked upon as good landlords. He allowed the people of his district to buy places that he lived in. His agent was captain Maude and he is still alive and living in Dublin. Last year his son and daughter-in-law visited the Island to see Mr John Boyle their old caretaker.
