    a very clean linen cloth and put water on them. Then they wrung the water out of them, and if there were any small pieces they threw them away. Then they put the good pieces into a dish of water, and when they sank to the bottom, they threw out the water. Then they mixed the potatoes with flour and salt and put them on the fire to bake.
    The old people would make boxty bread for Hallow-Eve and for Christmas.
