    If you have the mumps and you put a horse's or a donkey's bridle on your neck and lead you three times over running water it will cure you.
    If you have the whooping-cough and someone sends you something without being asked it will mend you.
    If you have the whooping-cough and you go three times under a donkey it is said to cure you.
    If you have a headache and you tie a piece of cloth round your forehead it will get better.
    If you have ringworm on your body and you rub iodine on it, it will check it at once and then it will wither away.
    If a wasp stings you and you rub blue on it, it will be alright.
    People say if a person has the measles and you boil the leaves of nettles and strain them and drink it, you will get better.
