  2. The manure is put out on the ground early in the winter. The manure is put into little heaps; then it is spread on the ground. Then the ground is ploughed. Then it is harrowed and drilled. There are two kinds of ploughs, drilling ploughs and the ploughing ploughs. When the drills are made there are fertilising manures put on the potatoes.
