    had a cow sick which they could not cure. Mrs Cassidy said they had and how glad they would be to get a cure. The old woman told her to get her husband to wash his hands in clean water and give it to the cow to drink but that never more was she to deny a "charity" to a poor person otherwise the cure would fail.
