For he nursed a pig on every knee,
And Pat Mc Hugh was very smart,
He ran away with Mary Harte.
    Chorus:-
    Run, boys, run, run away,
For your life's in danger this very day.

Willie Morrow came into the town,
But he had no way to get around,
When he reached the bridge the Sergeant held him,
Stop! my man for the tide is swelling,
He returned to his home, when the wind did stop,
To find his turf all over the shop,
Said his wife to Willie, it would be fine,
An account of that flooding to put in rhyme.
