Then up came an old man with a stick and bade them good-morning and asked them for a piece of bread saying he was both tired and hungry. The old lady gave him a piece of bread and told him to sit down and to eat it, which he did.
    Having eaten it all the old woman offered him more, which he refused, blessing the old man and woman for their kindness.
