  1. 1 My grandfather was coming from Ballindine fair with two cows one evening at dusk. Above Curnacleagh he heard footsteps behind him and when he would walk faster the footsteps would go the same pace with him.
He looked around a few times and could not see anyone.
At last the cold beads of perspiration started to tricle down his face, so he could not stand it any longer and he stood up in the road and taking off his hat he said. "In the name of God will you either come before me or stand behind," and he never heard the footsteps again.
