  1. The Leipreachan is commonly known as the Loirgín. He usually wears a red trousers red cap and a green coat. He is about two feet in height. His dwelling place is in a hill or fort. The Leipreachan is a busy little fellow. He spends most of his time making shoes. Then he hides and cares gold and treasure entrusted to him.
    I never heard locally of anybody who succeeded in catching a Leipreachan. As a rule a Leipreachan is not loked upon as a friendly being. If interfered with in any way they have revenge by leading people astray at night. To my knowledge the Leipreachan never
