  1. In Commauns there was a house burned 80 or 90 years ago. They had flax up to dry and the flax took fire and it was in the middle of the Night and they were all asleep. At about three or four o'clock the man of the house awoke i[?] and found that the room was full of smoke. He got up went down to the kitchen and the kitchen was all fire. He came up told his wife that the house was on fire. She got up quickly and went to the room whear the children were. They had a servant minding the children and the servant and the children were all burned alive
