  1. About fifty eight years ago in the month of February a great big snow fell. If fell so heavy that you could not know the road from the river or the fields from the garden or the dry ground from the bog.
    No animals could travel or they would be smothered.
    There was about 15 feet of snow on the road and about 20 feet in the river
    There was no water to be found unless you caried it.
