  1. The big wind started on the 12th night all of a sudden. It did not leave a house on the face of the country that it didn't knock except Micheál Mór Ó hOistín's house.
    It carried all the corn and hay that was stored except a stack of oats that belonged to Micheálín Ó hOistín.
    No one knew why this stack stood but the people said that it was a big needle that was lost in it that kept it. Micheálín got the needle again.
