Patt's horse responded .The whinneying continued louder and louder and at last the horse taking a prodigious spring from the road landed in the centre of the lake, where he disappeared taking Patt with him.
It is said that the horse is to be seen every seven years careering round the lake with Patt on his back.Whoever is unfortunate to see both when they appear is doomed to death immediately. It also is said that there is an enchanted land under the lake and that there Patt now resides.
