- "Put a CRUACH on it" - used in reference to filling potatoes into a basket or sand into a box. It means to raise it over water-measure(?)In some cases the same idea is conveyed by:-"Put a BREIS on it".
"You brought great TÓIR on me". You got me into a difficulty with other persons
"He didn't put TORADH a' MHADRA on me". He paid no heed at all to me, also:-"He didn't put a bit of SUIM on me" also:-"He didn't give TORADH WATCH (name of a dog) on me"
