  1. In olden times the food we use now aday was not use then or the people did not anything about it.
    Potatoes were the principal food and very often yellow meal porridge was eaten.
    It was a custom of the people to rise early every morning and worked for hours before breakfast.
    They took oaten meal porridge or yellow meal porridge for breakfast with a cup of skim-milk. They would not eat anything between their meals.
    Then for their dinner they had potatoes with salt and a cup of milk. Sometimes they had salt meat or fish.
    Othertimes the women went on the rocks and pick liberum. They would save this
