- The name of the local landlord was Bulter of Lanesboro and he lived at Quivvy. He was not a bad man and carried out no evictions. He was landlord over farmers and the people of the town. The castle is about three miles from the town and is beside the river Erne. It was burned in The (the) Anglo Irish war about the year 1920.
- There were no tithes collected that I heard of in this district.
