Rub goose seam to it or hold (in) it under cold water.

Forge water is for them.
Boils:-
Put bread poultice on them.
Sty in your eye:-
Point nine gooseberry thorns at it and throw one away every morning and it will go away.
Warts:-
Rub a snail to the wart and hang the snail on a black-thorn bush and when the snail dies the wart goes away.
