    There is a belief in this district that when the funerals on ninety-nine Gargans cross the road where she died - on the way to Moybolouge graveyard, parish of Tierworker, County Cavan - that she will rise up and eat the whole world. The result is that funerals of persons named Gargan always cross fields in order to get to the graveyard rather than travel this road.
