  1. Once upon a time, an old cow in this district didn't like the month of March, because it was very cold. When March was over, she shook her tail, threw up her heels, and said, "Thank God, March is over. I will live for another year now". The first three days of April came very cold and stormy. The old cow died.People say that March borrowed those three days of April to kill the old cow.
    Friday is a lucky day to start ploughing, or planting the crops, or saving them.
    Saturday is an unlucky day for starting any important work.
    Some people believe that if they sow Garlic on Good Friday, that it will prevent Black Leg in cattle.
