    they were good stories. The best was one of witch-craft - about a hare which is contained in this book.

    He said " I was at a wake of a young man in Mullagh, one night. It was about 2 o clock in the morning when some other fellows and I started for home, We stood outside the wake-house chatting a while, before we all faced for home. Suddenly, the most awful crying filled the whole village:
