2. Games I Play - Marbles

   Marbles.

   The game which I like the best is playing marbles. No less than two can play this game. A round little ball of flint or glass is used in playing this game,

   This is how the game is played. A few persons each supplied with a marble prepares the playing grounds. They dig three holes each in line with each other and five feet apart. When this is finished the playing grounds are ready.

   They then pink, that is to furl the marble from the first hole to the third hole and whoever is nearest to the hole plays first. They terms of playing marbles are - bar flyings, bar shots, bar driblings, flying shots, driblings, Flying means a second chance into the next hole. Bar - flyings says no second chance. Shots is to give a shot to a marble and drive it away. Bar-shots is no shots at all. Dribling is to give small shots to a marble and drive it away. Bar driblings is to not drive the marble away at all. Whatever marble lives to see the rest dead is said have won the game.
