Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)when he was passing him. That night when he went to bed he heard horses and coaches, one after another, driving to and fro. At last one came up the avenue, and though the yard gate. When it came inside the gate the people got down from the coach and brought the horses up the stairs to the hay loft. When he lit a candle the noise stopped. When he extinguished the light, the cracking of whips, and driving of coaches started again. He lay awake a while listening to it. He lit the light again, and it stopped, so he had to keep it lit. Afterwards he was told it was the dead coach he had heard.
