  1. The last big snow-storm we had, was about five years ago this February.
    The snow was in very big drifts, and the drifts were about ten feet in depth. On the level, the depth was about four feet from the ground. There was a great amount of damage done. There was a great number of sheep lost also.
    There were about two thousand sheep lost in the drifts on the Wicklow mountains alone.
    There were a lot of old houses knocked down
