This prayer stops the bleeding immediately Mr Hanlon (who, by the way, has the prayer) says, it can be given to any person. When the person who has the prayer is dying, he leaves the prayer with one of his relations. Mr Lambert says, that a man can make the prayer known to a woman, but not to another man, and that a woman can make it known to a man, but not to another woman.

Cock's blood cures St Anthony's Fire
Others believe that a woman whose maiden name remained unchanged by marriage, can cure St Anthony's Fire. (Mr A Hanlon)
(b) St Anthony's Fire is cured by rubbing with the blood of a person named Keogh, or blood from a cock's comb (Mr M Kelly)(continues on next page)
