    At nearly every wedding there is a feast and there is a big iced cake in the middle of the table. At the country weddings "Strawboys" come around at the house and start singing and dancing. Then they are brought into the houses and they eat all they can get. They are covered with straw but their faces are painted with soot. Nearly everybody that used to go to the wedding used to bring flowers for the bride. On the way home from the wedding the people attending the wedding used to race against the bride and bridegroom for fun.
