    Local fairs (continued.
There are no special places for cattle in the town of Enniscorthy on the fair day. You will find them in nearly part of the town.
There is a place in Enniscorthy called the Fair Green and many horses are sold in this place.
Whatever the animal is led by is given away with it when it is sold. When the business is transacted the buyer and seller strike each others hands to show their agreement.
I never heard of fairs taking place on hills or near graveyards castles or forts.
