    The local forge (continued)
    village called "The Harrow"
Four roads go into this village.
Mr Sam Rigley's forge is on the side of the road near Crane cross Roads and only a few perches from Solsborough Cross Roads.
The bellows in these forges were not made locally.
The two Rigley families are descended from ancestors who have been smiths. They say that their people have been smiths for many generations.
Smiths do not make ploughs or harrows now.
