    news from other parishes and the people usually gather around their caravans to hear the news. They usually camp on the road that connects the Gorey road to the Ballyowen road.
    They will accept any alms but they usually ask for tea, sugar and milk. Some of these travellers are fairly rich and have no necessity to seek alms, as they possess some very old cures for sickness in horses, and they are paid fairly well for curing horses for the people.
