There is an old underground road on the lands of Mr George Malone, Ballinahown, Wells, Gorey. It is supposed to be leading to Ferns. It is not known why it was made or who made it. There is no entrance to it now. The ground fell in and closed it. No one has entered it. A man found a sovereign at the place where the entrance was.
There is a light supposed to be seen there every night. The light is only a dim light like of a lamp. It is called Willie the Wisp.
Obtained form Mary Bolger, Raheenaskeagh, Gorey, Co Wexford.
