  1. We play a number of games in school. The names of the most common of them are :-
Chain tig - Here we come gathering nuts in May - Donkey - Hand Ball - Bull in the barrell and cannot get out - Frog in the middle - Four cornered fool - Draw a bucket of water - There was a little girl who wore a dirty bib - Hide and go seek - Hell, Heaven and Purgatory - Colours - Birds - Heck the bed - Jack stones.
Here we come gathering nuts in May, is a nice game. The party of players are divided into equal groups each party has seven or eight players and one party says
Here we come gathering nuts in May,
    Nuts in May,
Here we come gathering nuts in May,
On a cold and frosty morning.
The other party then says :-
Who will you have for your nuts in May,
On a cold and frosty morning.
In the end which ever party would get the most children by pulling one another would win.
Donkey is played with a ball as many as like could play and whoever misses the ball the most times would be called Donkey.
    Bull in the barrell
