It is also said that if the presuck is boiled in about a quart of water and when it is boiled strain the water into a gallon and put it into a bottle and leave it for a couple of days and then give it to a person who has pains and it will cure them.
The thistles nettles and chicken-weed espiacally grow where land is bad.
It is said that if a person has warts and opens a thistle and rubs the white thing which is inside the thistle to the warts and that they will go away in a couple of days. If a person touches the fringe of a nettle with their hands it will leave a very sore blistor on their hands.
My uncle named Thomas Kearney told me this information and he is 41 years.
